Good Things Come Even When They Seem Absent
As we live, there are times when it feels as if there is nothing, when it seems that good things will not happen and matters will not work out. When that state of mind lasts, worry grows, and it becomes easy to spend the day unhappily.
Yet things we thought would not happen do happen. Good connections and opportunities that seemed absent can appear at some moment. Just because they are not visible before us now does not mean there is no good in the whole of life.
That is why it matters to place the mind in a better direction. We should try to have hope, try to have faith, and keep making the effort we can make today with a good heart.
Just as we must be careful on an icy winter road, on days when the mind is frozen we also need to move carefully, one step at a time. Rather than running recklessly, it is wisdom to warm the heart and move our steps in a good direction.
Today, do not stay long with the thought, 'It probably will not work.' Begin the day with the thought, 'Good things may come.' A good heart and steady effort can become a source of happiness.
Even when it feels as if there is nothing and matters will not work out, good things can arise again. Do not let go of hope and faith just because you cannot see them now. If you keep making the effort you can today with a good heart, life opens again and comes closer to happiness.
